Permission to Sell / NOC (GMADA)

Clear the GMADA approval required before you sell or transfer your allotted property.

When Do You Need This?

If your property is allotted by GMADA (Greater Mohali Area Development Authority) and the Conveyance Deed has not yet been executed, you generally need GMADA’s Permission to Sell/Transfer (commonly called an NOC) before transferring the property.

Documents Required

  • Application form
  • Affidavit from the purchaser/transferee accepting liabilities
  • Affidavit from the seller confirming the property is free from encumbrances, mortgage, litigation, or liens
  • Photo ID proof of seller and purchaser
  • Details of legal heirs of the purchaser with photographs
  • Loan/mortgage clearance certificate, if financed
  • Sewerage Connection/Occupation Certificate, if applicable

Processing Time

GMADA generally processes permission/transfer services within 10–15 working days, depending on the specific service.
