Firm Registration

Firm Registration

Transfer property to a father, son, sibling, or spouse the correct legal way.

What Is Firm Registration?

Registration of a sole proprietorship or partnership firm with the Registrar of Firms, giving the business legal recognition — for example, the ability to sue in the firm’s name and easier access to banking and licensing.

Documents Typically Required

  • Partnership deed (for partnership firms)
  • PAN and Aadhaar of the proprietor/partners
  • Proof of business address, passport-size photographs

Confirm with client: “Firm Registration” and “Partnership Deed” both reference the same underlying law (the Partnership Act, 1932) in the material shared so far — please confirm whether these should be two separate pages or merged into one, so visitors aren’t shown the same service twice under different names.
