What Is a Special Power of Attorney?
An SPA authorizes another person to perform one specific act or a limited set of acts on your behalf — such as selling a specific property, appearing in a particular court case, or managing a single banking transaction. It generally becomes ineffective once the specified task is completed.
When Is Registration Required?
Property-related SPAs (especially involving sale or transfer of immovable property) generally require registration under the Registration Act, 1908. Other SPAs — court appearance, banking, document collection — may only need notarization, depending on the purpose.

- Drafted SPA clearly stating the specific powers granted
